The 16th and 17th of January 2009 the annual conference Worship Extended is taking place, once again, in Mariager at Mariager International Bible College. I’ve been given the privilege to have a seminar about song writing. The seminar will be in Danish and I hope to see you there.

This is a plea to all worship leaders who apparently like to hear their own voice. Please stop talking between every song - it’s not your job. Making our own sermons during the worship is not what we are put to do, we are put to lead people into worship - let the preachers inspire us with a preaching, and let worship leaders lead worship. Making a set-list for a Church service is more than just closing your eyes and picking out songs at random. There are some considerations that should be made, some more important than others. Rather teaming than individualism

A single individual can ruin everything for everyone by being too self-involved, negative, criticizing, or have no self confidence. I the meantime, a strong team can bring everyone up - even on a bad day.

One for all, all for one - it might even be that simple. A team is able to achieve a lot more than any individual is capable of achieving. A good team brings out the best in everyone and gives a far better result. Read the rest of this entry »
